Transition is not a destination but a self discovery, a place we go to, to express, understand and find our balance. It is not a cure, it is not a solution, it's just a mere path, a gate to the journey that never ends. Here is a quote from a recent detransitioner when I asked them why they decided to detransition :
"I have come to understand that I was much more in touch with who I was before I transitioned and not until after I transitioned did I really understand this about myself".
It all makes so much sense to me now, it is our need to find balance of our spirit and energies, that drives us to go from one end to another, when in reality it is all about the balance, in my opinion......
As I see more and more people detransitioning, many still unhappy after they have gone through the whole gamut, and still feel depressed, are lonely, not happy with the results, suicidal, and I have to say was the path the right path to stay on, or just a chapter to help align the misalignment felt in the soul?
We have been told from the time we are young that we are wrong for being who we are and acting the way we do, so the first chance we got to make it "right" we did, but what did it solve? Many are still hurting, are still unhappy, suicidal, homeless, jobless and single.
Why lie to yourself and others, let us be honest and help bring the balance that we need. It is not us we need to change, it's the mentality of the world towards gender which can't be changed, what needs changing is your heart, give your heart to God.
