William C. Group lived a typical life until his biological parents separated in 1997. After the death of his biological father in 1999, there began some of the most complicated aspects of Wil's life. He was introduced to the concept of homosexuality by being called “faggot” and “queer” from 6th grade to the freshman year of high school, and, from that point, he changed high schools from Southern Huntingdon County High School to McConnellsburg High School. Due to the influence of the same fundamentalist Christianity his mother was strongly involved in, Wil was brought up to be in denial of his sexuality his entire teenage life.

Any attempt at a heterosexual relationship felt forced and unnatural, as far as he was concerned. Despite going to the Evangelical camp The Wilds, and also attending Bob Jones University (sadly, Wil was stupid enough to believe the Christian god called him to attend a racist, sexist, homophobic university), Wil eventually came to terms with his true self at age 20, and came out of the closet to the world. He would then spend the next several years making YouTube videos that caught the attention of TheAmazingAtheist, whose publicity gave him enough ground to get Wil a live podcast on “NotStr8 TV”, who also hosted Mark Angelo Cummings' earliest version of “Trnsisition Radio TV”. Nowadays, Wil lives with his two boyfriends, DeAngelo Johnson and Andrew Yunker, and prefers the quiet life... Although, he is preparing for an internet comeback.
