Ms Simms is a 42-year-old Transgender woman living in Houston Texas, who is a managing architect for high graphic virtualization clouds at a global semiconductor company.
Veronika is the president of a newly formed transgender organization that will be launching soon. The organization is a non-partisan/non profit that seeks to help transgender people achieve a position of success by addressing roadblocks that hinder that success. The long-term goal is to place the transgender community in a position of leadership and influence both inside and outside of the greater GLBT community.
Veronika is a late transitioner, who began her transition at the age of 38 in 2012, and does not regret her previous life, or how it’s influenced her as a transgender woman. She was an athlete, coach, husband, and guardian for two boys and transitioned after all of those commitments were complete.
