TJ Phillips is an airline pilot living in Jupiter, Florida. She formally began her transition almost five years ago and is now transitioning on the job. "I have my FFS scheduled in Malaga, Spain in late-April.
I still present as male in public right now, although the effects of HRT are making my transition more and more monthly. I will be full-time female after my face surgeries, likely within the year. I have been married for 18 years to an absolute saint who truly loves me and is 100% with me during my transition.
I have four children, three of whom are 100% supportive and one who will not even talk to me. My siblings and parents have known about my plans for about a year and they still love me.
While working full-time as an airline Captain, I am halfway through my studies for my Ph.D. in Holistic Nutrition and Natural Health. I am not certain I will keep flying more than five more years and I would like to run for office as soon as I am 100% comfortable in my new female role.
