Renee James Renee James is the female persona of a bi-gendered American. She has a BA in Liberal Arts and has had a long, successful career as a writer and magazine editor. James is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict. She is married to a wonderful woman, parent to three outstanding children, and grandparent to seven adorable kids.
Renee is active in the Chicago-area transgender community and was the managing editor of the Chicago Gender Society' newsletter, The Primrose, from 2005-'10.
She is currently in the process of marketing and publishing her first novel, 'Coming Out Can Be Murder'. It is the story of a transwoman who gets perilously involved in the investigation of a murder during her transition. The book will ship to reviewers in early 2012 and be released for sale in June, 2012.
