My name is Quinn Evan. I am a 20 something Florida boy. I am ftm. I realized this when I was about 5. I came out at 16. I grew up in a Christian/spiritual background. I started transitioning medically and legally at 16 name change , marker change, T and chest reconstructive surgery. My only coping mechanism at the time and now music. One day i watched taboo and saw your episode on being ftm male and thought wow things can improve and get better. Then my good friend Lex interviewed on your radio show.
I was intrigued in your knowledge and etc. Your show was very informative. I than began my search on YouTube and came across your music. Your message in your music was inspiring. You gave me the courage to begin playing drums and form a band. I have been playing drums since middle school. But seeing someone else kinda like me making music was great and also seeing how successful you are in life and the lgbt helped as well.
Our band name is called Los Zingoros meaning the gypsies or wandering boys.
We are both ftm. Reese plays guitar, banjo. I play drums and percussion instruments. We both write music.
