Paige Elliot Phoenix is a musician and activist best known by the general public for his groundbreaking appearance on The X Factor - Australia. Paige has been a strong supporter of the No to Homophobia Campaign from the beginning.

Paige Phoenix was thrilled to be included in the lineup for Brisbane Pride Fair day with Sara Macleod and Katie Noonan. Due to the tireless efforts of the Brisbane Pride committee the day was a fantastic success, and it was great to see some of Australia's gender variant talent being included in the lineup. Many thanks to the incredible Brisbane Pride choir, who worked with page to co-create a finale not to be forgotten.

Paige has gone on to carve out a career as singer/songwriter, public speaker and trans activist.

An appearance on the highest rating reality TV series running at the time will tend to shake life up a little for most people. Doing so as the first out transsexual contestant to ever appear on a show of its kind ups the ante a little. Paige was successful in becoming one of the final six contestants in the over 25's category, both raising his profile as a musician, and that of gender diversity in Australia.

Paige currently resides in Melbourne, and works as an entertainer, writer, public speaker, educator, community campaigner, and privately practicing psychotherapist. He is available for counselling, public speaking and music engagements. Paige recently made head line news regarding the marriage annulment and the United Nations case against the federal government.
