Lucas Charlie Rose is a trans*
male hip hop artist, music producer,
and filmmaker who was born in Paris, France,
to a black father and a white mother.
After stints living in the US and Niger,
Lucas moved to Montreal to study
music and film making.
Since arriving in Montreal,
he has released three albums and
two EPs and founded his own
multidisciplinary
company called
Common Sense Entertainment.
He is also very vocal and visible
in the trans and anti-racist
activist scene.
