ABOUT MARK ANGELO
Maritza Delcarmen Perdom was born in Havana Cuba June 30th 1964. He transitioned in Dec of 2003 and legally changed his gender marker and name in February of 2004. Mark has been writing and performing music from a very young age. His journey has inspired him to bring forth the message of love, to love self as we are.
Mark inspiration comes from above; being in tune with the universal energy that connects us all sets his writing apart from the rest. His music is moving and empowering and will touch your heart in ways no other writer has before His raspy Folk Rock, no nonsense message style will get you to think outside the box. Marks Music is an experience; a journey like no other that breaks free from the norm and programs of this world. Mark has walked the path on both sides and has struggled with many challenges but feels honored to have experienced them all, knowing that you only become stronger with each obstacle you cross.
He has been an advocate for the Trans community and has been on many talk shows, and in an all transgender cast film called Bella Maddo, as well as self produced his biography and CD entitled “The Mirror Makes No Sense” and “Enslaved”. Mark hopes to bring forth the awareness that without love in our lives we are empty souls, Love with all your heart and soul, and learn that we are made perfect the way we are.
