Dawn Ennis successfully transitioned from broadcast journalism to online media following another transition that made headlines; in 2013, she became the first trans staffer in any major TV network newsroom. She was the first out transgender editor at The Advocate, and the first trans journalist invited by Caitlyn Jenner to interview her one on one in her home.​After a year serving as News Editor, she transitioned to a new role with her own company, EnniBuddy, launching news video productions for advocate.com She's also now writing for the most respected and most popular entertainment news site, ETonline. She has seven years' experience in TV news management. She also has several years' experience as an assignment editor, segment producer and writer, more than a decade as a line producer and a solid three years as a field producer and videographer. She's done every job from ripping scripts to running a newsroom.She's also a social media maven, with thousands of connections and followers around the world. With the blessing of her three children, Dawn retains the most important job title she's ever held: Dad.
