Cylliah is a first born, blind, Transgender soul, though it would take some life experience and connecting of dots to fully understand and accept this part of himself. His parents raised him like any other child, the sky is the limit. He was drawn to music at an early age and was raised in the Baptist church. At age 5 he sensed he was different from other little girls, when puberty began, he knew for certain he was different, he had no understanding nor could explain to anyone how he felt, deep down the connection between his body and mind were out of sync with one another. To cope with life’s struggles and demons he channeled his discomfort threw academics, music, wrestling, and Martial Arts.
He earned his black belt in Kung Fu San Soo and graduated high school. A few years later he took a step towards taking control of his life by studying Massage Therapy. After graduating and earning his license to practice, it was finally safe for him to begin living his truth by transitioning and officially coming out. Since then life has changed for the better, threw struggles, healing, growth, and past experiences, help shape who we are. Life is now worth living, selfacceptance is a beautiful thing and living your truth is freedom. I live life to the fullest and always seeking out adventure. I’m no one special, just an average Jo who has challenges of his own. I’m a Masseur by day and musician by night who dreams of making a living rocking out on stage.
