Cecilia Watkins is a transgender woman from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania who transitioned on the job three years ago.
Cecilia served the country for 16 years in the military and is the father of 3 children. Cecilia has been employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 19 years. She was recently recruited by Equality Maryland to be a community leader in the regional area of Northern Baltimore, Maryland to Harrisburg, PA.
Cecilia hopes to serve the Trans community by serving as a visionary for our next generation's leadership by her personal resources, outreach and presence in the LGBT community. Cecilia is a role model to others by example, inspiring motivation and trust, leading by example and listening and relating practical real-life experiences to educate people, the public and the community. She is helping to shape the public at large in ways that will be helpful in creating a change for equality, fairness and acceptance.
